The nature of the city is most clearly represented by a pine forest located in the city center.

A beautiful view of it opens from the Pritomskaya embankment in the city center.

At the top, on a cliff in this part of the forest, there is a Poklonny cross, as well as huge letters "Kuzbass".

About 350 species of plants grow in the forest. Squirrels, chipmunks, white hares, ferrets, weasels, columns and more than a hundred species of birds are found here.

Five species of animals and nine species of plants are listed in the Red Data Book of the Kemerovo Region.

Pine forest in Kemerovo is a unique place, it can be called the lungs of the city.

Therefore, the forest is a great place for outdoor walks.
